I'm a 3D Artist currently located in Sint Anthonis,
The Netherlands. During my education I was taught a wide variety of skills, from film, photography and camerawork to games, digital print, and commercial work.
I feel right at home within these disciplines, but 3D is my game.

I'm very passionate about modeling, texturing, lighting, dynamics and rendering.
During my career I've worked with a lot of 2D and 3D software on the market. The list below is a selection of the software that I'm used to work with, but as an artist I say; they are just tools.

It's not the software that makes a good CGI designer, it's skill to be creative in any environment and to be passionate about it.

3D software:
  • -Autodesk Maya
  • -Softimage XSI
  • -Pixologic Z-Brush
  • -E-on Vue xStream
  • -Autodesk Mudbox
2D software:
  • -Adobe Illustrator
  • -Adobe Indesign
  • -Adobe Photoshop
  • -Adobe Premiere Pro
  • -Adobe After Effects
  • -Autodesk Combustion

I'm also a certified practice leader, a degree I got at Maximus Studio.

Wilbert van den Broek

CGI has been my passion for a few years now. I began my career in Enschede at Saxion Kunst & Techniek and since then I never stopped learning.

The 3D industry keeps evolving and the same goes for me. The latest addition to my skill-set is stereoscopic rendering for 4D movies. I learned a lot at Maximus Studios were in the past year I've worked extensively with stereoscopic scenes for the movie 'I can fly'.
I've also worked for Marieux, an acclaimed interior designer, were I was responsible for the visualization of the interiors.

Film and visual effects, illustrations and architectural visualization, games; within 3D I have a great variety of interest.

Aside from my professional work I'm always working on some personal projects, and when I'm not on my computer you can find me taking pictures with my EOS 350.
